Born in Terni, Italy, Francesca Battaglioli grew up with a passion for life and a love for fashion.  Through her years as a college student at U.C.L.A. her focus turned to a more scientific career, however by her early 20's she realized that it was her creative endeavors that brought her true joy.

With her focus back on track she spent the next several years thriving in various aspects of the fashion industry in Los Angeles.  In 2005 Francesca took one more leap in the direction of her dreams and relocated to  the north shore of O'ahu, Hawaii.  The ethereal scenery that became the background of her new life inspired a new hobby.  She began experimenting with hand crafting jewelry and creating pieces for her friends and family.  Within a year Francesca B. Designs was born.

Drawing inspiration from the calm serene and breathtaking shores of Hawaii, Francesca's  eye-catching pieces are now desired by women across the island, as well as the Mainland.  Continually redefining her style and expanding her collection, she brings her love of nature and beauty to each of her creations.  Her one-of-a-kind looks incorporate an eclectic mix of natural materials. Combining stunning gemstones and unique shells with leathers, natural fibers, sterling silver and gold, she manages to create styles that are sure to please!
